Texas is about as close to hell as I care to get

Hell

I don’t think I’m ever getting out of here!

Well, I said I’d make a post each night of this trip, so here I am. And this is gonna be short.

This is also my pre-apology to anyone that lives in, used to live in or would like to live in, Texas.  Your state sucks like no other state has ever sucked.

And on top of that, the goddamn thing never ends.

I hit the state border at about 225 miles into my travels today.  I’m finally in a hotel in some kind of purgatory between Fort Worth and Dallas at 681 miles into my travel.  Apparently I have about 6000 more miles of Texas before I can finally escape it tomorrow.

I swear, I’m getting out of the car and kissing the ground when I get to Shreveport.

The only cool thing I’ve seen here is Texas Motor Speedway which is directly across the street from my hotel and it has this 6,000,000″ flat screen that I could see clearly from 35 miles away and I want that bitch for my living room.

TMS

I think they turned the TV off just to piss me off when they found out I was staying across the street.

I’m not even going to talk about the Motel 6 I’m in.  Not yet anyway.  Not until I’ve called them to complain tomorrow and see if I can get them to give me another night free.  Tomorrow night in Mobile, Alabama, ’cause I’m sure not coming back to this state if I can help it.

Anyway, I’m tired and I have another whole day of driving tomorrow, so I’m going to bed.

For those of you that have never driven through Texas, let me show you what it’s like. . .

BumfuckStare at that picture.

For 73 fuckin’ hours.

And for the love of God, make sure you have a full tank of gas.

And yeah, it does quickly get blurry, just like that.  That is the psychosis setting in.

There will be no Facebook post of the day because Texas sucks.

Good night, kids.

You were one of the few lucky ones to make it out of Texas (u did make it out, right??) I came to visit and now I’m stuck in this hell hole

    1. Just get in a car and drive. In a week or so, you’ll be somewhere else. It works, trust me.
